Not too bad.... not great.

They came in... did a pretty good job, but there were a couple little extra things that popped up that I got charged with.

Overall, they were very polite, very fast, and the place looked good afterwards.

I have used Stanford Carpet Cleaners a number of times, and every time I am suprised at how they are able to get seemingly irreparable stains out of my carpets, rugs, and furniture (I have sons and a dog). They are very friendly and professional in their service. However, as noted by an earlier review, be prepared for a bit of an interactice process - they sometimes request towels or drop cloths or water access.

Very fast.  Carpet is clean.  Price seemed ok, but I wouldn't know since I've never ordered a carpet cleaning before.  Deducting stars because, first, they needed a water connection out front to connect to the machine in their truck and they didn't tell me ahead of time.  (I had to ask to borrow neighbor's water hose on the fly.)  And secondly he used the toilet without asking, used paper towels without asking, and started working before providing the quote.  Not a big deal, just like the courtesy.

I like Marie's review - she hits on all the important points of what a great job these folks did with our carpets.  A written estimate, a fast and thorough job (on hands and knees, no less) and they even helped move back the furniture after the cleaning.  Nice to know good professionals are out there in some fields...

By far the best carpet cleaning experience I've ever had.  Mr. Touni arrived promptly with his assistant.  He provided a written estimate before starting the work, so that there would be no misunderstandings.  They use the extraction/steam method, which in my opinion is superior (having tried both this and chem-dry).  They carefully moved all my furniture aside and cleaned all the areas, and then placed it all back.  They protected the legs of the wooden furniture.  The water they used was hot, and they took extra care to remove any spots.  They cleaned the stairs and hallway thoroughly, making sure to clean all the carpeting on the stairs, not just the parts you step on,  They worked quickly and efficiently.  Over the years I have had many companies clean carpets for me, but this was definitely the best.  The carpet was dry by the next day and looked great.  Oh, and by the way, the price was very reasonable!  I would highly recommend this company.
